David specialises in Wills, Probate, Trusts and tax work relating to Inheritance Tax planning and the administration of clients' estates after death.
He also advises elderly clients in such matters as Lasting Powers of Attorney, care provision and matters relating to mental incapacity such as applications to the Court of Protection.
David initially trained as a Notary Public in Central London between 1977 and 1979.
He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1994 before going on to qualify as a Solicitor in January 1999.
During a long career he also ran his own financial services practice between 1986 and 1994, advising mainly personal clients on their pensions, life assurance and investment planning. Between 1991 and 2002 he lectured professionally to other solicitors.
He read Law at the University of Sheffield between 1974-1977 and also passed his Financial Planning Certificate to qualify as a Financial Advisor in 1999. He has worked extensively for Solicitors firms throughout the south east of England and joined Mason Bullock in 2009.
